I can still feel the sensual energy, the fun, the jaw-dropping performances of the competitors and the world-renowned international dancers who were also the judges. This wasn’t just a competition…it was “artistry in motion”!
Performers and workshoppers came from all over the world. Singapore, UK, Italy, France, South Africa, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand to name a few. What a night indeed!
Once again Battle Against Ignorance Foundation is so grateful to the 2nd Afro Latin Festival chairperson and organizer Raquel B. Moras and her Rising Entertainment team for the full support in naming us as the event’s beneficiary.
YOU DID IT, ROCKY! The blood, sweat and tears you shed has beautifully paid off! Thank you Jesus!
We are incredibly grateful to have spent time with friends who are like family, especially when we share the same passion. Last night, we had an amazing time (Afro Latino Dance Competition) thanks to our dear friends bro Lito Gruet and to his very charming and kind hearted wife Stella Romero Gruet . It was truly a memorable experience
The Battle Against Ignorance Foundation and Safehaven Recovery Village have joined forces to help those who are lost, broken, hurting, and labeled as “hopeless.” Both Lito and I were once victims of drug addiction, and it took us years to find our way back to a better life. Overcoming addiction was an incredibly difficult journey, but when we accepted Jesus Christ as our savior, we were able to turn our lives around. Today, we are dedicated to advocating for change and helping others on their path to recovery. We are proud to continue this journey alongside our fellow advocate, Bai Foundation and Safehaven President Kuya Ronnie G. Delos Santos and the rest of the advocates from the Battle Against Ignorance Foundation and Safehaven Recovery Village. Special thanks and congratulations to maam Raquel B. Moras for it was indeed a successful event.
